CareerSpark 2024

 You’re Hired

What is CareerSpark You’re Hired

You’re Hired is a new program offered by the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council and Junior Achievement of Central Illinois. The aim is simple: educate our region’s high schoolers about the career opportunities readily available to them in central Illinois. Students will be exposed to participating companies and their existing available jobs.

This is the first annual high school hiring event, brought to you via a virtual, on-demand digital platform. Company exhibitors will use the platform to showcase their organization in a digital booth (grouped with other company booths within the same industry, such as manufacturing, healthcare, technology, business and finance, and more). Interactions between students and employers will be facilitated by guidance counselors, providing students access to real world interview and employment experiences.

Showcase your Company

Interested in introducing your company and promoting your job openings to tomorrow’s workforce? Register to become a You’re Hired exhibitor! Sponsorships secure a booth where your company can share your brand and inform students about your job openings. Here you can find all the sponsorship information necessary to get involved. To sign up as an exhibitor, contact Sally Eastman at sally.eastman@ja.org

Register Now!

We invite you and your students to join us and thousands of other students virtually this year in our first ever You’re Hired event.
